What are hair extensions?
It is where the hair extensions are locked to the base of your natural hair to create longer looking hair, add thickness to your natural hair, and/or change your color.
Are hair extensions real hair or synthetic hair?
Our hair extensions are 100% authentic human remi hair.
How do the hair extensions stay in my hair?
The 100% human remi hair piece, with its unique keratin bond, together with your natural hair are joined in an aluminum tube and crimped for security.
Will people be able to see the extension bonds?
The tube system is one of the most natural hair extension applications. Our technique will blend the hair extension with your natural hair for a flawless look.
Does my natural hair and hair extension need to be cut?
A haircut before your extension application can be done to maintain a healthy condition. To make sure your natural hair and hair extensions blend, a hair cut is required, creating a beautiful and natural looking style. The haircutting service is included in the quoted price for your hair extensions.
Will hair extensions cause damage to my natural hair?
The chemical and glue free design are non-damaging to your natural hair.
What if my hair is chemically treated?
We recommend that your color be done prior to your extension service. After your hair extension application, you can continue to schedule regular color maintenance. To ensure that the service provider is familiar with your extensions, your chemical services should be performed by an AGAMI professional. AGAMI does not suggest attaching hair extensions to permed or relaxed hair.
Will I be able to use my regular styling tools on my hair extensions?
Your extensions are 100% human hair and can be treated as you would your own natural hair. Blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, and hot rollers are all safe to use on your hair extensions. Be prepared for your regular styling routine to change.

How often will I have to maintain my hair extensions?
Hair extensions will last approximately 3 months, depending on individual hair growth. How you maintain your hair extensions during wear is very important. If you let your hair extensions grow out too far it can put unnecessary strain on your natural hair.
Will any of my hair extensions fall out?
It is normal and expected for there to be some loss. If you experience the loss of an extension, save your hair extension and contact your AGAMI service provider. We will reapply it in minimal time and at no charge.
How is the hair extensions removed?
Your hair extensions require an AGAMI professional to remove them for you by appointment. There are no chemicals involved in the removal process, keeping your natural hair healthy. Removal can take anywhere from two to six hours. Based on the amount of hair extensions and the way they were maintained during wear. For removal of hair extensions and maintenance of natural hair, there is an hourly fee of $100.
After I remove my hair extensions can I reuse them?
If properly maintained you can reuse your hair extensions and have them reapplied up to two applications. On the second and third application there is no hair extension purchase charge, only the maintenance fee of $100 on hour.
How much time should I set aside, to have my hair extension applied?
Depending on the amount of hair ordered an application can vary in time. A service takes an average of 5 hours.
How much do hair extensions cost?
A hair extension application first requires a complimentary consultation from an AGAMI hair extension specialist, who will inspect you hair condition and discuss with you your desired outcome. The price will vary based on thickness of your hair, the texture, and the length you wish to achieve. A lengthening and fullness service generally starts at $1200. Adding highlights and dimension, or a few strands of vibrant color can cost considerably less that a full service.
Because of our chemical and glue free application process your hair extensions can be reused. This eliminates the cost of new hair extensions for your second application, the only cost being the maintenance.
How do I pay for the service?
You will be required to make a down payment on the total cost of the hair needed for the service. That down payment is then put towards the total cost of the service. |
